Blue Mountains area and Tasmania South West National Park
Wild an exhibition of paintings and drawings that reflect walks I have taken, memories and experiences of some of the rugged Blue Mountains NSW landscapes and landscapes in the South West National Park Tasmania. Most of the scenes I've painted here are not easily accessible. They are reached by multi-day hikes or involve long drives down fire trails and then walking.
More and more, people are realising their intuitive/magnetic pull towards nature and are acting on it by getting amongst it. This lure of the bush is an escape, an outlet, and definitely a source of nourishment and happiness but it also teaches us. It teaches us lots of things about ourselves and how we interact with nature and the benefits of that.
